Queer As In ______ Workshop

In this 90 minute workshop, we will move, meditate, journal, and explore what being queer means using a yoga and body liberation lens. What does being queer mean to you, in theory, practice, body, mind? Take this time to celebrate, love, and sit with yourself in a community of others. Tickets will start at $5--anything paid beyond $5 will go directly to Brave Space Alliance (for example, a ticket payment of $7 will give $2 to Brave Space). Brave Space Alliance is "the first Black-led, trans-led LGBTQ+ Center located on the South Side of Chicago, dedicated to creating and providing affirming, culturally competent, for-us by-us resources, programming, and services for LGBTQ+ individuals on the South and West sides of the city" that "strive(s) to empower, embolden, and educate each other through mutual aid, knowledge-sharing, and the creation of community-sourced resources as we build toward the liberation of all oppressed peoples."
